| dc.description.abstract | This paper compares the political alignment of entrepreneurs in the 1986 and 1992 elections and analyzes why some entrepreneurs developed an interest for democracy. The first part analyzes the entrepreneurs' political alignment and their modes of political participation. The second part discusses whether pragmatism and democracy are contradictory principles, and the third part evaluates the impact of the political participation of entrepreneurs and the victory of the PAN in Chihuahua for democracy in Mexico. |
